The client brought us on for design, after a decade of phased sales growth at their Lajpat Nagar site. The brand wanted to capture the high end visitors in the market place and needed a face lift to communicate their values of high quality, timelessness and promise. They also wanted to incorporate storage for their growing workforce in the limited space available to them.

Through a series of design workshops and brainstorming sessions, we envisioned a facade that allowed their gold and diamond jewelry to stay in the limelight, by providing a subtle yet rich backdrop of natural marble, metals and woods. The hard metal of the jewelry was balanced with a soft suede back panelling, hand crafted by local artisans to give subtle visual nuances without being too loud. The key design element was to figure out the functioning of the window unit that served as a display unit from outside and a storage unit from inside the store, while keeping all seams smooth & discreet.
